Brady, Thomas J. "Tucker"          
Queensbury -- Thomas J. "Tucker" Brady, 61, of Baybrook Drive, died
unexpectedly Friday, Sept. 16, 2005.

Born in Glens Falls, on Feb. 9, 1944, he was the son of the late William and
Rita (Murphy) Brady Sr.

Tucker was a graduate of Fort Edward High School Class of 1961, and SUNY at
Plattsburgh Class of 1965.

After college, Tucker taught fourth grade at Tanglewood Elementary School in
South Glens Falls. He remained there until his retirement in 2000.

He was a former member of the Glens Falls Elks and a member of the Fort Edward
Idle Hour Club.

Tucker loved sports and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Notre Dame
Fighting Irish fan.

He had a great sense of humor and a very giving heart. He loved spending time
with his nieces and nephews, who affectionately called him "Grandpa Tucker."

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Suellen Brady, and two
brothers, William Brady Jr. and James Brady.

Survivors include five sisters: Mary Esperti and her husband, Dave, of
Schenectady, Patricia Gregory and her husband, Dave, of Queensbury, Carolyn
Kelly and her husband, John, of Enfield, Conn., Colleen Winfield and her
husband, Richard, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Carol VanAernem and her husband,
George, of Liverpool, N.Y.; nieces and nephews, Matt, Joe and Tom Gregory,
Brian, Nancy and Mark Esperti, Erin, Eric, Bryan and Megan Kelly, Lisa and
Ryan Winfield, and Kathy, Tim and Kim Van Aernem and Ann and Paul Brady; and
many, many friends.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005, at M. B. Kilmer
Funeral Home, 82 Broadway, Fort Edward.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, at St.
Joseph Church, Broadway, Fort Edward.

A Rite of Committal will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Fort Edward.

The family suggests that donations be made in Tucker's memory to the Fort
Edward High School Athletic Department, 220 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828.

Coffin, Michael Taylor        
Hague -- Michael Taylor Coffin, 63, of Hague, passed away unexpectedly on
Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, at the Albany Medical Center Hospital of Albany,
N.Y.

Born in New York City, July 31, 1942, he was the son of the late August Coffin
and Myrna (Taylor) Riel of Cape Cod, Mass.

Mr. Coffin has been a resident of Hague since 1978. Before moving to Hague, he
lived in Warrensburg and Schenectady.

He was a graduate of Linton High School of Schenectady.

Mr. Coffin was the Owner and Operator of "The Cave" Restaurant & Bar of Hague
for many years.

He was well-known in this area as an artist and was a creative sign painter.

He was a member of the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks No. 1494 of
Ticonderoga.

Survivors in addition to his mother, Myrna Riel of Cape Cod, Mass., include
his wife of 42 years, Linda I. (Simmons) Coffin; one son, Matthew L. Coffin of
Hague; two daughters, Lisa A. Coffin of Nutley, N. J., and Lynn E. McClure of
Brant Lake; one brother, Peter Coffin of Salt Lake City, Utah; and one sister,
Bonnie Coffin of Schroon Lake. He is also survived by his four grandchildren;
twin sisters, Marissa A. Coffin and Michelle L. Coffin; Jennell Coffin, and
Taylor Coffin; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wilcox &
Regan Funeral Home, 11 Algonkin St., Ticonderoga.

A funeral service will take place Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. The
Rev. Russell Bissell, pastor of the Hague Wesleyan Church, will officiate.

Interment will follow at the family plot of the May Memorial Cemetery of
Hague.

DeLoriea, Kenneth        
CORINTH -- Kenneth DeLoriea, 74, of South Main Street, died unexpectedly
Friday, Sept. 16, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital.

Born on Aug. 19, 1931, in Ballston Spa, he was the son of the late Jacob and
Helen (Burge) DeLoriea.

Mr. DeLoriea attended school in Saratoga Springs.

He joined the United States Army, serving for several years in Germany in the
Guided Missle Program until his discharge in 1958.

Mr. DeLoriea married Irene J. Fuller on July 24, 1955, in Corinth. The couple
has resided on South Main Street for many years.

He was the first employed as the mechanic at Ed's Mobil in Corinth for many
years, and then worked at the ARCO Station in Corinth for a few years. He then
worked as a mechanic at Den Wilhelm's Auto Sales in Glens Falls for 13 years
until his retirement.

He then worked for many years in Corinth as a caretaker and general
maintenance man for the Hudson River Credit Union and other businesses.

Mr. DeLoriea was a member of the Corinth Free Methodist Church and served as
trustee for many years.

He enjoyed shopping and spending time with his family and friends.

Besides his parents, three brothers, Donald, Jerry and Joseph DeLoriea; and
two sisters, Marylou Cowles and Dorothy Gossitt, all died before him.

Survivors besides his wife of 50 years include three sons, Preston DeLoriea of
Greenfield Center, Gregory DeLoriea of Corinth and Duane DeLoriea and his
wife, Claire of Hadley; one daughter, Kim (DeLoriea) Corlew of Corinth; two
brothers, Harold DeLoriea and his wife, Catherine of Gansevoort, and Edward
DeLoriea and his wife, Janet, of Douglasville, Ga.; two sisters, Alberta
Mathis and her husband, Leon of Schuylerville and Betty Peterson of
Gansevoort; several grandchildren and one great-grandson several nieces,
nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, 2005, at Corinth
Rural Cemetery, Route 9N, Corinth, with the Rev. Joel Cochran, pastor of the
Corinth Free Methodist Church, officiating.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Densmore Funeral Home,
Inc., 7 Sherman Ave., Corinth. Members of the Horace D. Washburn American
Legion Post 533 of Corinth will conduct a service at 8 p.m. Sunday at the
funeral home.

The family suggests memorials take the form of donations to the Corinth Free
Methodist Church, 20 Hamilton Ave., Corinth, NY 12822.

Osterhaudt III, Howard G. "Buck"        
WEST GRANVILLE -- Howard G. "Buck" Osterhaudt III, passed away unexpectedly
Friday, Sept. 16, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital.

He was born on Dec. 31, 1944, in Schenectady, the son of the late Howard G.
Osterhaudt Jr. and Jane A. Jones.

He loved his family, the outdoors, fly-tying, fly fishing in the Mettowee
River and the Salmon River in Pulaski and was an avid chess player.

Survivors include three sons, Josh Osterhaudt of Queensbury, Jason Osterhaudt
of Belcher, and Howard G. "Ben" Osterhaudt IV of Salem; two daughters, Amy
Osterhaudt of Salem and Marcy Osterhaudt of Greenwich; his special friend, May
Thomas; his sister, Kathy Guy-VanGuilder of Rindge, N.H.; two grandchildren,
Kayleigh Osterhaudt and Chase Brockway; a niece, Chrisdiona Clarke; and a
nephew, Michael Guy.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Robert M. King Funeral Home, 23
Church St., Granville.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with
the Rev. Robert Flower officiating.

The family has suggested memorials be in the form of contributions to the
American Heart Association, P.O. Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049.

Scriver, Frederick J.         
SOUTH GLENS FALLS -- Frederick J. Scriver, 80, of South Glens Falls, passed
away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, at Mary's Haven in Saratoga Springs.

Born June 26, 1925, in Troy, he was the son of the late Frederick and Helen
"Nellie" (Legnard) Scriver.

Entering the United States Navy, Sept. 20, 1943, during World War II, Fred
served his country aboard the sub tender USS Griffin earning the American
Theater Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Medal, and the Victory Medal, being
honorably discharged May 20, 1946.

On July 10, 1948, Fred married MaryAnn DePaul at St. Philip Neri Church in
Westport.

The couple resided in Elizabethtown, and moved to Warrensburg in 1960. In
1986, they retired to South Glens Falls.

Fred worked for the New York State Department of Transportation, with more
than 30 dedicated years of service. In the community, he was a lifetime member
of American Legion Mohican Post No. 553 in South Glens Falls, having been
Commander and longtime Chaplain. He was also a member of VFW Post No. 420 in
Saratoga Springs. He was a former member and past president of the Board of
Education in Warrensburg, and also belonged to Toastmasters.

Fred was an accomplished public speaker and administered the American Legion
Post No. 553 High School Oratorical Contest for many years, and also won the
American Institute of Bank Annual Public Speaking Award consecutively from
1983 to 1986.

Fred was the leader of his family, though quick to allow his wife, MaryAnn, to
make the most important decisions. He always looked forward to a good cup of
coffee and conversation with his friends at Wag's Northway Diner, and also
enjoyed camping, fishing, snowmobiling, and most recently, following stock car
racing, specifically Oakwood Racing's Lori Cary No. 96.

In addition to his parents, his loving wife of 53 years, MaryAnn, who passed
away May 2003, predeceased him.

Survivors include his son, Stephen and his wife, Susan, of East Longmeadow,
Mass., and grandchildren, Stephen Jr., Anthony and Sarah Scriver; his son,
Joseph and his wife, Karen, of Queensbury, and granddaughters, Christine,
Lauren and Rebecca Scriver; and his daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Sean
Cohan of South Glens Falls, and his grandson, Declan; also several nieces,
nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, at Maynard D. Baker
Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury. The American Legion Mohican Post
No. 553 Honor Guard will stand guard from 6 to 7 p.m. and perform a brief
service at 7 p.m. with full military honors.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, at St.
Michael's Church, Saratoga Avenue, South Glens Falls, with the Rev. Robert
Nugent, pastor, officiating.

Burial will immediately follow at St. Elizabeth's Roman Catholic Church
Cemetery in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Mundy, pastor of St. Brendon's
Catholic Church of Keene, officiating.

Friends are invited to join the family for a gathering, in celebration of
Fred's life, at the home of Joe Scriver, 14 Walton Court, Queensbury.

Memorial donations, in loving memory of Fred, may be made to Mary's Haven, 35
New St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

The family wishes to extend their appreciation to Dr. Mark Hoffman and his
staff at Adirondack Cancer Care, and the staff and volunteers at Mary's Haven.

Smith, Clara L.          
GLENS FALLS -- Clara L. Smith, 96, of Fort Hudson Nursing Home, passed away
peacefully Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005, with her Angel by her side.

Born Aug. 13, 1909, in Wevertown, N.Y., she was the daughter of Merton and
Jenny (Parker) Corlew.

She married the late William Smith of North River, N.Y. who ran the river
drive for Finch Pruyn.

Clara was a very caring and giving person who treasured life, her family and
her friends. Throughout all of her years, she touched the lives of so many.
She opened her home freely to anyone in need. She gave courage, strength and
wisdom, and from her heart, she gave love.

She so truly enjoyed the holidays, and she showed the beauty of the season,
but it was everyday she showed the meaning.

Clara will always be loved and remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother,
sister and friend.

Besides her parents and husband, Clara was predeceased by her daughter, Betty,
her daughter, Janice, her son, Gerald, her son, Billy, and her daughter,
Madeline. Also her brothers, Lawrence Corlew, Curt Corlew, Lee Corlew and his
wife, Hazel, Micky Corlew, Leonard Corlew, and her sister, Sally Crossman.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Redmond and her husband, Lindy, of
South Glens Falls, her daughter, Wenona Smith of Fort Edward, her daughter,
Evelyn Thomas and her husband, Harold, of Queensbury, her son, David Smith and
his wife, Ruthie, of Florida; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and
three great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Harold Corlew of Queensbury; and
her sister, Ruthie Perkins of Crown Point, three sisters-in-law which were
like her own sisters, Mary Corlew, Marie Corlew and Marylou Donlon, many
nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, at Christ
Church United Methodist, 54 Bay St., Glens Falls with the Rev. Arthur Hagy,
former pastor, officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11
Lafayette St., Queensbury.

Stapp, Jimmy Leon        
Lake Lauderdale -- Jimmy Leon Stapp, 63, of Sullivan Way, died unexpectedly,
Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005, at the VA Hospital in White River Junction, Vt.,
from complications of cancer surgery.  He was the devoted companion of Sue
(Lincoln) Jacobson.

Born Aug. 22, 1942, in Missouri, he was the son of the late Dan Green Stapp
and Laura Marie (Sayers) Stapp.

Jimmy joined the United States Air Force in 1961, and served in the Vietnam
War.  He left the service with a 100 percent disability.  He was a lifelong
member of the Whitehall American Legion.

After the service, he moved to Plattsburgh and then to Whitehall, where he
lived for over 20 years. In 1984, he and Sue moved to their home at the lake.

Very musically inclined, Jimmy loved playing the guitar and had his own band,
Desperado Junction.  Strumming with his friends still gave him much pleasure.

He also enjoyed golfing at Windy Hills Golf Course, making carvings from wood
and stone and having breakfast with the "Breakfast Flakes" at the Burger Den.

He loved spending time with Sue's family, whom he considered his own,
especially the grandchildren.

Along with his companion of 22 years, Jim is survived by her family:   three
children, Sheila Murray of Buskirk, Tonya Julius of Cambridge, Ben Jacobson of
Shushan; four grandchildren, Jacob and Cole Murray and Owen and Mya Julius;
her mother, Gladys Morin of North Adams, Mass., and her father, Doug Lincoln
of Shushan. His mother and five siblings reside in Missouri.

A funeral and burial service is being held in Missouri.

A memorial service will be held locally at a time to be announced.

Local arrangements under the direction of Ackley & Ross Funeral Home.

Towers, Genevieve R. "Gee"         
CORINTH -- Genevieve R. "Gee" Towers, 84, of Main Street, died Friday, Sept.
16, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital following a brief illness.

Born on Feb. 23, 1921, in Corinth, she was the daughter of the late Clarence
and Ada (Burge) Angell.

Mrs. Towers graduated from Corinth High School.

She married Ralph E. Towers in South Corinth and the couple resided in Corinth
for several years. He died Feb. 15, 1985.

Mrs. Towers was a devoted lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church
of Corinth and was known for her volunteer work at the church thrift shop.

She used all her time, energy and resources to help anyone in need. She will
be remembered as a source of strength to many people in the community and her
kindness of heart and devotion to the less fortunate. She will truly be missed
by all who came to know her.

Mrs. Towers also enjoyed spending time with her niece, Bonnie, and was an avid
reader.

Besides her husband and her parents, three sons, Ricky, Gary and Danny Towers,
and one daughter, Hope Bush, two brothers, Robert and Francis Angell; and one
sister, Kathryn (Shepard) Rhoades, all died before her.

Survivors include two grandchildren, Dennis Bush of Saratoga Springs and Tammy
Jo Bush of Saratoga Springs and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005 at Angell
Cemetery, Angel Road, Corinth with the Rev. Robert Jewell, officiating.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Densmore Funeral Home, Inc., 7
Sherman Ave., Corinth.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations go to the First United
Methodist Church, 243 Main St., Corinth, NY 12822 or the Spirit of Life United
Methodist Church, 10 Chapman St., Porter Corners, NY 12859.

Voll, Marie M.           
Queensbury -- Marie M. Voll, 77, of The Glen at Highland Meadows, went to be
with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Saturday morning, Sept. 17, 2005, from
her home with her loving family by her side.

Born June 5, 1928, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Walter
M. and Augusta (Strasen) Zorn.

She graduated from Shaw High School in East Cleveland, Ohio, received her B.S.
from Concordia Teacher's College in River Forest, and her master's degree from
Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J.

While sitting in the back of the classroom at Concordia Teacher's College, she
met, and one week after graduation, married Eugene J. Voll, June 17, 1950 at
Norwood Park, a suburb of Chicago, Ill.

Her teaching positions included two different schools in the Detroit, Mich.,
area and a middle school in Warren Twp., N.J.

Most of the years were spent raising her five children.

Favorite pastimes included gardening and church music, as she was an organist
and choir director in several different churches across the country.

Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Eugene J. Voll of The Glen,
Queensbury; two sons, Daniel Voll, a missionary for 30 years in Bogot ,
Colombia, South America, and Peter Voll and his wife, Julie, of Shelburne,
Vt.; three daughters, Betsy Krausnick and her husband, Charles "Chuck" of St.
Louis, Mo., Susan Ballou and her husband, Kevin, of Poolesville, Md., and
Christine Irwin in Lake Placid; twelve grandchildren, Greg, Lauren, Andrew,
Michael, Lindsay, Rachel, Zachary, Liza, Laura, Colin, Kiersten, and Jameson;
one brother, the Rev. Herbert Zorn and his wife, Dorothy, of New Glarus, Wis.;
one brother-in-law, Jack Whiteside of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; nieces, nephews,
cousins, and many dear friends.

Her parents, her sister and brother-in-law, Carla and Quentin Winter, her
brother and sister-in-law, Fritz and Irmgard Zorn, and another sister, Anita
Whiteside, all predeceased her.

At Marie's request, there will be no calling hours.

A memorial service will be held today, Sunday, Sept.18, at 4 p.m. at Pine
Knolls Alliance Church, 614 Gansevoort Road, Route 32, South Glens Falls, and
another memorial service Monday, Sept. 19 at 11 a.m. at The Glen at Highland
Meadows, 39 Longview Dr., Queensbury. One of her favorite hymns, "Heaven is My
Home," will be sung at both memorial services.

Donations may be made, in loving memory of Marie, in continued support of her
son's missionary work in Colombia, South America, to The New Testament
Missionary Fellowship, Attention Columbia Mission Fund, 44 Hudson Terrace,
Yonkers, NY 10701.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home,
11 Lafayette St., Queensbury.
