He was a pioneer on L.I. residing initially in Levittown in the early 1950's and then moving his ever-growing family to Brentwood where he was an active member at St. Anne's R.C. Church. Larry was no stranger to heartache during his lifetime. In the past eleven years, he lost his beloved wife Julie, son Donnie and daughter Kathleen, all to cancer. He succumbed to the same dreadful disease this week. Larry leaves behind his six remaining children on L.I.; Larry Jr., Richard, Thomas, Barbara, Dennis and Michael, along with their spouses. He was known as "Poppie" to his 19 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren.
