December 8, 2004 Antonio Avicolli, 77, of Liverpool, passed away Wednesday at
St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in Isernia, Italy and a resident of
Brooklyn for 20 years and Liverpool for 14 years. Antonio retired from Trump
Residential Complex in Brooklyn after20 years. Predeceased by his brother,
Raffaele Avicolli. Survivors: His wife of 52 years, Carmela Gentile Avicolli;
daughters, Olimpia (Nicola) Tribuzio, Luciana Avicolli both of Brooklyn, NY,
and Elvira (Edward) Perez of Long Island, NY; sons, Nicola Avicolli and
Fabrizio (Amy) Avicolli both of Liverpool; sisters, Ida D'Alessandro and Anna
(Giovanni) Ercolano both of Brooklyn, NY; brother, Giuseppe (Gloria) Avicolli
of Bronx, NY; six grandchildren, Gianni Antonio, Massimiliano, Vanessa,
Brianna, Nicholas and Alyssa. Funeral services Monday 8:15 a.m at FARONE &
SON, and 9 a.m. in St. Peter's Church. Burial in Our Lady of Peace Mausoleum.

illness. Born in Buffalo, Mrs. Fritz was an avid bingo player. She was
predeceased by her husband Henry L. Fritz in 1983. She is survived by a son,
Gary P. (Diane L.) Fritz of Baldwinsville, and two grandchildren, Jason P. and

December 10, 2004 Ben "Banjo" Greenfield, 76 of W. Lake Rd., Skaneateles, died
Friday, December 10, 2004. Born in Auburn, a life-resident of Skaneateles, he
owned and operated Greenfield Farms in Skaneateles. He was a member of St.
James Episcopal Church in Skaneateles, the National Hay Association, the
Auburn Elks Club and was an Honorary member of the Robert J. Hydon American
Legion Post 239 in Skaneateles. He was predeceased by his son, David Benton
Greenfield; his parents, Webb and Winifred Dowling Greenfield and a
granddaughter, Kerri Cuppinger Card. Surviving are his wife of 52 years,
Barbara Cuppinger Greenfield; three sons, James (Caroline) Greenfield, William
Greenfield and Thomas (Lisa) Greenfield; two daughters, Margaret (Michael)
Card and Susan (John) Murphy; a brother, Hulbert Dowling Greenfield all of
Skaneateles; 11 grandchildren and one niece. Services will be held 11 a.m.
Monday in St. James Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery,

Lattanzio, Rocco "Rocky"   
December 9, 2004 Rocco Lattanzio, 76, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday with
his beloved family by his side. Born on September 1, 1928 in the Bronx to
Vincenzo and Nunziata Lattanzio, raised in Locorotondo, Bari, Italy, and went
back to NYC when he was 19years old. In 1949 he settled in Syracuse and
married his childhood sweetheart in 1950. Known as Rocky to his friends, he
was self-employed for 50 years in the produce business and for the last 35
years was the owner of Dattler Foods Inc. and House of Bari Imports. Rocky had
a talent for developing original recipes for the finest foods, wine, and
friendships. He was the center of numerous gatherings and lit up every room he
entered with a zest for life that he generously shared with all. With his wife
of 54 years, he created a united and loving family. His family was always his
priority and his children will continue the traditions he so lovingly handed
down to them. Rocky has touched the lives of so many people and appreciated
the little things in life. He helped us all appreciate them as well. He and
his wife enjoyed traveling back to Italy each summer to visit family and
friends. Rocky was a communicant and usher at Our Lady of Pompei Church. He is
predeceased by his son, Samuel. Survivors: His wife Angela Convertino
Lattanzio; daughters, Nancy (Terry) Quigg, Anna Lattanzio, Roselinda
Lattanzio, Maria (George) Wede, and Angela Lattanzio; sons, Vincent (Sue)
Lattanzio and Rocco (Natalie) Lattanzio, Jr.; 13 grandchildren; brothers,

owner of the Corvette Corner, Laure's Performance since 1966, and most
recently Show & ProveAuto founded in 2004. He was well known for his work on
Corvettes. Survivors: his wife of 34 years, the former Michelle Amerman; a
son, William P. of Syracuse; a brother, James Laure of Mattydale; several
nieces, nephews and cousins. Services: 9:45 a.m. Monday at the
GIMINSKI-WYSOCKI FUNERAL HOME and 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church of

Peterson, Robert S.   
December 6, 20045 Robert S. Peterson, 46, of Hubbardsville, New York, formerly
of North Branford, CT and Wallingford, CT, died unexpectedly Monday, December
6, 2004, at his residence. He was the beloved son of Isabel A. (Shinkunas)
Peterson of North Bran-ford and the late Frank J. Peterson. Born in Syracuse,
New York, September 18, 1958, he had been a resident of North Branford and
Wallingford for many years until moving to Hubbardsville several years ago.
Bob was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School in Wallingford. He had been a
member of the North Branford Police Department until becoming a State Trooper
with The Connecticut State Police, for 21 years, until his retirement in 1999.
Following retirement, Bob purchased and operated the Peterson Star Farms in
Hubbardsville. Besides his mother, Isabel, he is survived by his sister and
brother-in-law, Patricia and John Fultz of Lincoln Park, MI; his two brothers
and sisters-in-law, David and Helga Peterson and Frank and Martha Peterson,
all of Syracuse, NY; his two nieces, Christina Peterson and Lauren Peterson
and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday,
(TODAY) at 11:30 a.m. from The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main
Street, Ext., Wallingford, CT, when the funeral cortege will proceed to the
Church of the Resurrection, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Entombment will be in the All Saints Cemetery
Mausoleum in North Haven.

Santini, Angie (DeGuglielmo)   
Santini December 9, 2004 Angie (DeGuglielmo) Santini, age 86, of Liverpool,
passed away Thursday at home. She was born in Naples, Italy but lived in the
Syracuse area most of her life. Angie worked at GE as an assembler in the
heavy military department, retiring after 20 years of service. Her husband,
Leo A. Santini, Sr., died in 1979. She is survived by two sons, Leo A. , Jr.
(Maureen) Santini, of Wisconsin; Jerry Santini of Delaware; grandchildren,
Laura, David, Christopher, Shawn and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Devon,
Danielle, Nicholas, Benjamin and Madelyn. Funeral services will be held on
Monday, 9 a.m. in the Pirro and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in
