NEEDHAM, BOBBY J.
Bobby J. Needham entered into his heavenly home peacefully in the presence 
of his family on Friday, August 20, 2010.  He was 78, a native of Hammond, 
LA and a resident of Metairie for the past 42 years. He was formerly 
employed by N.O. Plastering, Co. and Gats Masonary.  Bobby was a man of God 
and loved his church, First Baptist Kenner.  He is survived by his beloved 
wife of 56 years, Bobbie Ree Parker Needham; two daughters, Virginia 
Needham and Cheri Watson (husband, Brian); three grandchildren, Jennifer, 
Ashley and James Watson; a sister, Betty J. Heath; and many other loving 
relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Nettie Nancy 
Culbreath and Henry Patrick Needham; and a daughter, Sylvia Joe.  Relatives 
and friends are invited to attend the funeral. Visitation at the Kenner 
Funeral Home of L.A. Muhleisen and Son, 2607 Williams Blvd., on Monday, 
August 23, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and continuing on Tuesday at 
First Baptist Church of Kenner, 1400 Williams Blvd. from 9:00 a.m. until 
time of services at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment in Greenlawn 
Cemetery, Hammond, LA.

NEEDHAM, BRUNETTE LOBELL
Baton Rouge - Brunette Lobell Needham, 86, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, at
Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center, Baton Rouge. She was a native of
Springfield. Survivors include a daughter, Mareen N. Strange, Denham
Springs; son, Donald C. Needham, Colorado Springs, Colo.; sister, Allie
Fauntleroy, Hammond; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Her
husband, Marvin C. Needham; sister, Lillie Stoddard; six brothers, Bernard, 
Russell, Vernon, Elmer, David and Travis Lobell, preceded her in death. 
Visitation will be at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, Thursday,
from 1 p.m. until the funeral at 3 p.m. The Rev. Vernis Wolfe will conduct
the service, and burial will be in Carter Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the
family requests that memorials be made to the Hospice Foundation of Greater
Baton Rouge, 9063 Siegen Lane, Suite A, Baton Rouge 70810, or the Cancer

NEEDHAM, FRANCES WAINWRIGHT
A resident and native of Robert, she died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at
Lakeview Regional Medical Center, Mandeville. She was 73. Survived by two
sons, Robert "R.J." Needham and Donald Needham Sr., both of Robert; a 
daughter, Shirley Holmes, Robert; six grandchildren; 14 great-grand-
children; four sisters, Helen Rayborn, Livingston, Betty Amacker, Hammond,
Katheryn Mayers, Tickfaw, and Margaret Peters, Hammond; and two brothers,
Gerald Wainwright, Pumpkin Center, and David Wainwright, Mississippi.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Needham Sr.; and two brothers,
Charles Wainwright and John "Butch" Wainwright. Visitation was at Harry
McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday.
Visitation at the funeral home chapel from 8 a.m. until religious services
at 1 p.m. Friday. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery.

NEEDHAM, GERALD PATRICK
A resident of Baker, he passed away at 2 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at 
The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. He was 85 and a native of 
Kentwood. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, having 
participated in action against the enemy at Tarawa Atoll in 1943 and 
Saipan in 1944, and was a recipient of the Purple Heart Medal. Visiting at
Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Monday, Dec. 27, from 9 a.m. until 
religious service in the chapel at 11 a.m., conducted by Bishop Ruben 
Clark. Graveside service with military honors at 2 p.m. Monday at Woodland 
Cemetery, Kentwood. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Gerry and 
Wayne Davis, of Baker, and Janice and Bobby Westbrook, of Slaughter; first 
cousin, Katie Blades, of Kentwood; five grandchildren, Candy Mattick and 
husband Dan, Patrick Davis and wife Kelli, Jason Davis and wife Jamie, 
Kylie Davis, and Rachel Westbrook; nine great-grandchildren; and two 
special cats, Tom and L.T. Preceded in death by his wife, Sally Needham; 
and parents, Pat and Daisy Needham. He enjoyed fishing and cooking. 
Special thanks to the staff of The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice

Last rites for Mrs. Henry Needham, 70, who died Thursday, March 23, at the
Florida Parishes Hospital at Independence, were held Friday from the Poole
Funeral Home.  Interment was in Greenlawn cemetery, with the following 
serving as pallbearers:  Emmett Needham, and Marion, John, Willie, Young
and Leroy Thompson.  She was the former Lula Thompson of Amite.  She is 
survived by her husband, W. H. Needham; four daughters, Mrs. Edwards Morgan
of Robert, Mrs. Bill Williams of Manchac, Mrs. Lamar Atkinson of Miami, 
Fla., and Mrs. W. J. Viers of Shreveport; three sons, Milton and Amos
Needham of Hammond, and Marvin Needham of Lafayette; four brothers, Bob,
Arch, Coney and Freiler Thompson, all of Amite; 16 grandchildren and 4
great-grandchildren.

A resident of Denham Springs, he passed away Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, at
his home in Denham Springs. He was 73, a native of Hammond and a 1952
graduate of Springfield High School. He was retired from Dow Chemical,
Seale Funeral Home and Greenoaks Funeral Home. He was also a U.S. Air Force
veteran. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, was on Saturday,
Jan. 13, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation continues on Sunday from noon
until service in the chapel at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Carl Rushing.
Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park in Denham Springs. Survived by
son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Karla Needham of Denham Springs;
grandchildren, Clay and Brittany Needham of Denham Springs; foster son and
daughter-in-law, Louis and Brenda Freeman of Denham Springs; foster
grandson, Louis Freeman Jr. of Denham Springs; sisters, Marilyn Clement of
Loranger and Lanell Dixon of Livingston; and brothers, Edward Earl and
Nelson Needham, both of Livingston, and Claude Needham of Pride.
Pallbearers will be his former co-workers at Seale Funeral Home. He was
preceded in death by his wife, Martha Cupit Needham; parents, John Otis and
Zella Zeigler Needham; and sister, Opal Oliphant.

daughters, Opal Oliphant of Loranger, Marilyn Clement of Natalbany, Lanell
Dixon of Livingston; four sons, Edward "Spook" and Nelson Needham, both of
Livingston, Maurice Needham of Denham Springs and Claude Needham of Pride; 
19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Needham; one grandchild and
brothers and sisters. Visitation will be Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Seale
Funeral Home, Livingston, and Sunday from 11 a.m. until the funeral at 
2 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Steve Arledge and the Rev. Joe Starns. Burial
will be in Springville Community Cemetery, Springville. Seale Funeral Home,
Denham Springs, is in charge.
