PEARL KILLIAN MORGAN

Services for Mrs. Pearl Killian Morgan, 95, of Coos Bay, OR, will be held at 
10:00 AM Wednesday, February 6, 2008, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Johnny Hankins and Rev. Ken Renfroe 
officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, South Grand Street, Monroe.


Mrs. Morgan was born January 1, 1913, Winnsboro, LA; but had resided in 
Monroe, LA the major portion of her life until it became necessary that she 
move to Coos Bay, OR where she resided until her death Thursday, January 31, 
2008.


Mrs. Morgan was a Legal Secretary and Assistant Secretary-Treasurer of the 
Ouachita Valley-Cornie Valley National Farm Loan Association, Monroe, LA. She 
had been a member of the former Gordon Avenue Methodist Church and the Monroe 
Methodist Protestant Church, Monroe, LA.


Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her husband, Howard H. Morgan, Sr.; her 
parents, Robert R. and Mary Scott Killian; brother, Joseph F. Killian; 
sisters, Miss Roxie Killian, Mrs. Eunice Killian Lambert, Mrs. Juanita Killian 
Osterland, and Mrs. Myrtle Killian Hankins.


Survivors include her son, Howard H. Morgan, Jr. and his wife, Winnie Jean, of 
Coos Bay, OR; grandsons, Joseph S. Morgan of Dahlonega, GA, Lewin Dee Gray of 
Bastrop, LA; granddaughter, Katie Morgan of Texas; and four great-
grandchildren.


Pallbearers will be Joseph S. Morgan, Lewin Dee Gray, Will Robert Lambert, Jon 
Hankins, Matthew Hankins, and Marshall Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be 
great nephews.


Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
