He is survived by four sons, Herman Harris Jr., Marvin Harris and Theran Harris, all of Raceland, and Donald Lee Harris Sr. of Houma; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Scott; his stepfather, Monroe Scott; and one son, Wendell Harris. He is survived by four sons, Raoul "Chuck" Pitre Jr., Lawrence Pitre, Aubrey Pitre and Robert Pitre and wife, Linda L. Pitre; two daughters, Donna Pitre and Mary Pitre; two brothers, Leander Pitre and Marville Pitre; one sister, Marie P. Andras; and three granddaughters, Lacey Anne Pitre, Vanessa Lynn Pitre and Ashley Lynn Pitre.
