Gladys Walker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Bertha Duhe Champagne; 
sister, Rena Champagne; and brothers, Preston, Clarence, Septine "Buck", Harry, 
Felix and Joseph Taft "White" Champagne.

grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ambroise Bourg; and a sister, Vegelia

She was the wife of Clarence A. Benoit; mother of Noble, Olan, Roland and Nobey 
Benoit. She is also survived by two sisters.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

A death notice for Felicia "Tish" Pitre Benoit, which appeared in Tuesday's 
paper, omitted the names of her deceased parents and incorrectly listed the 
number of deceased sisters and brothers. Her parents were Lucian and Julia Ford 
Pitre. She was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters. She was 
also survived by 10 grandchildren.

Little Hope St. Garyville for Roseanna Williams Craighead, 65, a native of St. 
James Parish and resident of Garyville, who died Tuesday at 3:45 p.m.

Cemetery in Lions.

She was the mother of Robert Jr. and Howard Craighead, Dorothy Howard, Barbara 
and Ervin Craighead of Garyville, Willie C. Joseph of LaPlace; and sister of 
Alberta Johnson, James Williams of Garyville, Pearl Carothers, Clarence 
Williams of Reserve and Victoria Sanders of LaPlace. She is also survived by 17 
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (John) Craighead; and parents, 
Emperia and Victoria C. Williams.

Club and the National Campers and Hikers Association.

He was the husband of Lou Ira Arceneaux of Grand Coteau; father of Raymond 
Arceneaux of Opelousas, Glenn Arceneaux, Mary Alice Guillot, Judy LeRay and 
Elizabeth Arceneaux, all of Thibodaux; stepfather of Dolores Stelly of Grand 
Coteau; and brother of T.J. Jr., Murphy Arceneaux and Daisy Bourgeois, all of 
Thibodaux.  He is also survived by six grandchildren and six step-
grandchildren.

Russell O. Ayo Jr., a prominent Thibodaux attorney who was active in his 
community, died Tuesday after a prolonged illness. He was 44.

Thibodaux for Ayo, a native and resident of Thibodaux who died Tuesday at 9:30 
p.m.

He was the husband of Denise Ann Thomassie Ayo; father of Monique E., Nicole

president, secretary and director of the Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce and 
president, vice president and secretary of the Lafourche Parish Bar 
Association.

He also served as president of the American Cancer Society.

A 1963 honor graduate of Thibodaux College, Ayo entered Nicholls State 
University. After his 1967 graduation with a major in accounting and minors in 
economics and general business, he enrolled in law school. He received his 
juris doctorate from Louisiana State University Law Center in 1976.

Ayo was named to "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities," Nicholls 
State University Hall of Fame, Outstanding First Year Thibodaux Jaycee, 
Outstanding Young Men of America, Outstanding Alumnus, NSU College of Business, 
Personalities of the South, Hall of Fame of LSU Law Center and Thibodaux 
Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Member. He was awarded the Femmes Natales 
Women's Club of Thibodaux's Outstanding Citizen Award for his dedication to his 
family, community, church and profession.

During his military training, Ayo was named Outstanding Advanced Infantry 
Trainee at Fort Polk and president of the Non-commissioned Officer Club Company 
C, 199th Support Battalion, Louisiana National Guard.
