Robert Roy Walker Jr.    
Walker Jr., Robert Roy A resident of Livingston, he passed away Friday, 
Feb. 16, 2007, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at the 
age of 90. He was a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Army 
during the Battle of the Bulge under the command of Gen. George S. 
Patton. Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on 
Sunday, Feb. 18, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Monday, Feb. 19, from 
8 a.m. to noon. Funeral service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic 
Church, French Settlement, on Monday, Feb. 19, at 2 p.m., conducted by the 
Rev. Rubin Reynolds and Deacon Jimmy Little. Burial will be in the church 
cemetery. Survived by his wife, Gloria Delatte Walker; daughters, Betty 
Tweedel, Carol Walker. Jane Bergeron, Judy Morse, Brenda Vincent and 
Sandra Walker; stepdaughter, Jackie Forman; stepsons, Roland and Ross 
Guitreau; sisters, Lois Emmon and Ivy Spears; and numerous grandchildren, 
great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be 
Keith Majors, Eddie Jenkins, Dale Vincent Jr., Robert Richard, Kenny 
Bergeron and Patrick Bickham. He was preceded in death by parents, Robert 
Roy Sr. and Ruby Oliver Walker; stepson, Gill Guitreau; sisters and 
brothers, Sylvia Carpenter, Ruby Causey, Iris Grimball, Van Walker and 
Max and Maxine Walker. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Additional Comments:
Robert R. Walker was awarded the Bronze Star in World War II.  He was born 
Bayou Chicot, Evangeline Parish, La. His parents were Robert Ridley Walker 
and Ruby Viola Oliver, both from Bayou Chicot.
