Will of Buckley Man Admitted to Probate Monday
The Watseka Republican, Dec 18, 1929

Property Worth $16,000 Disposed of by Testator; Wife Gets
Estate for Life and Personalty

The will of August H. Krumwiede of Buckley, which disposes
of an estate consisting of $15,000 worth of real estate and
about $1,000 in personal property, was admitted to probate
here last week. Witnessed by William E. Mell and Fred Poppe
of Buckley, the document was made July 15, 1927. The
testator died at Buckley, October 12, 1929, leaving as his
sole heirs-at-law, his wife, Louise, and his three children,
Ferdinand, Mathilda Johnson and Lillian Kaufman. Mathilda
resides in Loda; all the others live in Buckley.

After leaving all his personal property to his wife, the
testaor also gives her a life estate of his farm land and
his property in Buckley. After her death, according to the
will, the farm land is to be divided between the three
children, Mathilda and Ferdinand getting estates in fee
simple, and Lillian a life estate, remainder to her brother
and sister.

The title to the Buckley property upon the death of Mrs.
Krumwiede also goes to Ferdinand and Mathilda, provided they
pay the sum of $500 to Lillian. The latter amount is made a
charge upon the land.

The testator was 67 years old when he made his will. His son,
Ferdinand, is named executor.
