        Dr. Ernest Pierleoni, 76, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000.
        A native of Celano, Italy, Mr. Pierleoni was a son of the late
     Luigi and Felicia Verna Pierleoni. He doctored in internal medicine
     and cardiology and was of the Roman Catholic faith. He served in
     the U.S. Army and was a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post 7720,
     Cornelia.
        Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in V.F.W. Memorial Park,
     Cornelia, with the Rev. Mike Freeman officiating.
        Survivors include his wife, Bess Pierleoni; two daughters,
     Paddie Hawkins, Oakwood, and Felicia Cordier, Gainesville, Fla.;
     four sons, John Franklin Pierleoni, Orlando, Fla., Allen Pierleoni,
     Sacramento, Calif., David Pierleoni, Ocala, Fla., and Louis
     Pierleoni, Winter Park, Fla.; a sister, Gloria DellaPorta,
     Rochester, NY; a brother, Dario Pierleoni, Rochester, NY; five
     grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
        McGahee-Griffin and Stewart Funeral Home has charge of

        Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Ivie Funeral Home,
     Commerce, with the Rev. Larry Gailey officiating. Burial will be in
     Grey Hill Cemetery.
        Survivors, in addition to his parents, include a daughter,
     Mercedes Seay, Danielsville; a sister, Brandy Simmons, Athens; a
     brother, Robert Simmons, Athens; and his grandmothers, Ruth Elrod,
     Commerce, and Betty Free, Homer.

        Llewelly Zeigler, 45, formerly of Sylvania, died Wednesday, Nov.

        A native of Screven County, Mr. Zeigler was a son of Oliver
     Zeigler, Sylvania, and Dorothy Zeigler, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He
     was preceded in death by a son, Dwaine Cunigan. He attended Central
     High School and Screven County High School and was a member of the
     U.S. Armed Forces. He was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church.
        Services were Monday at St. Paul Baptist Church, Sylvania.
     Burial was in Friendship Memorial Cemetery.
        Survivors, in addition to his parents, include six sisters,
     Yulonda Z. Lewis and Larose Z. Cunigan, both of Athens, Carolyn Z.
     Gilliam, Oveida, Fla., Linda Z. Scott, Ozark, Ala., Angela Zeigler,
     Fort Lauderdale, and Jacqueline Z. Rose, Tampa, Fla.; four

     Savannah, Charles E. Zeigler, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Dennis E.
     Zeigler, Gainesville, Fla.; nieces and nephews.

     officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
        Survivors include his wife, Gerry L. Rowland; a daughter,

     Rose; two stepdaughters, Nena Ruth McGarity, Bowman, and Jody Mae

     with the Revs. Ralph Goss, Willard Fitzpatrick, Gary Ledford and
     Johnny Willis officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memorial
     Gardens, North.

     Kathy Brown Elrod, Carnesville; seven sisters, Eloise Nash,

     be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
        Survivors include two daughters, Linda Meeks Anderson, Sidney,
     Ohio, and Barbara Meeks Sisk, Covington; a sister, Mary Lois
     Barnes, Union Point; four grandchildren; and two
     great-grandchildren.

     Meadows, Johnny Meeks, Kenneth Rowland, Gray Johnson, Randy Morris

     Graham, Canon, and the late James L.V. Graham and was the widow of
     J.C. Black.
        She was retired as a textile worker from J.P. Stevens and was a
     member of Gaines Chapel United Methodist Church.
        Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Gaines Chapel United
     Methodist Church with the Revs. Wayne Lambert and Johnny Stowe
     officiating.
        The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m.
        Burial will be in the church cemetery.
        Survivors, in addition to her mother, include three daughters,
     Tina McMurry, Shelby, N.C., Darla Pilgrim, Greenville, S.C., and
     Wanda Pilgrim, Pickens, S.C.; three sons, Greg Black, Pickens, Jake
     Black and Neal Graham, both of Williamston, S.C.; two sisters,
     Louise Lewis and Sharon Truax, both of Canon; a brother, Jack

     Church.

     Cemetery.
        Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Cochran Wilson; three
     stepdaughters, Sheryl Chase and Sandy Booth, both of Gainesville,
     and Donna Severn, Oak Park, Calif.; a stepson, Durwood Pepper,
     Gainesville; two sisters, Ruby Wiley, Lula, and Barbara Payne,
     Flowery Branch; two brothers, Donald Wilson and William Wilson,
