     Annie M. Bolton
     Commerce
         Annie Mae Bolton, 92, of 371 East Ridgeway Road died Friday,
     Oct. 4, 1996.
         A native of Banks County, Mrs. Bolton was a daughter of the
     late Calvin Bale Garrison and Eldora Martin Garrison. She was the
     widow of Ellis Eugene Bolton and was a member of Bethany Christian
     Church.
         Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Ivie Funeral Home
     Chapel with the Revs. William Campbell and Bill Manus officiating.
     Burial will be in Grey Hill Cemetery.
         Survivors include four daughters, Elizabeth Evans and Geraldine
     Adams, both of Commerce, Etheleen Adams, Wallingford, Conn., and
     Annie L. Deedie Turner, Maysville; one son, George Bolton,
     Maysville; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one
     great-great-grandchild.
     Ruth Bramlett
     Commerce
         Ruth Bramlett, 89, of 89 Orchard Drive died Friday, Oct. 4,
     1996.
         A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Bramlett was a daughter of
     the late Frances Hooper Varner and James D. Varner. She was the
     widow of Wilton E. Bramlett. She was a homemaker and member of Bold
     Spring United Methodist Church.
         Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Bold Spring United
     Methodist Church with the Revs. Billy Lewis and Gary McEntire
     officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
         Survivors include a son, James Bramlett, Commerce; two
     daughters, Patsy Self, Atlanta, and Martha Wilkinson, Commerce; a
     sister, Cady Roberts, Rome; four grandchildren; and one
     great-grandchild.
         Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of
     arrangements.
     Franklin H. Milford Sr.
     Madison
         Franklin H. Milford Sr., 83, of 943 Harper St. died Friday,
     Oct. 4, 1996.
         A native of Calhoun Falls, S.C., Mr. Milford was a son of the
     late Furman Boyce Milford and Kitty Grant. He was a carpenter.
         Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Madison Baptist
     Church with the Revs. Jim Ross and Butch Lee officiating. Burial
     will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
         Survivors include his wife, Sara Tate Milford; two sons, Frank
     Milford Jr., Lawrenceville, and John Milford, Madison; three
     daughters, Kitty Jones, Elberton, Ada Cowart, Flowery Branch, and
     Florence Ledford, Cornelia; two brothers, Harry Milford, Abbeville,
     S.C., and Victor Milford, Oakdale, Calif.; three sisters, Martha
     Thompson, Sylvania, Althea Barton, Charlotte, N.C., and Winton
     Campbell, Lake Wales, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and four
     great-grandchildren.
         Simmons Funeral Home, Madison, is in charge of arrangements.

         Mary Thelma McGarity Little, 81, of 447 Beaverdam Farm Road
     died Friday, Oct. 4, 1996.
         A native of Hart County, Mrs. Little was a daughter of the late
     Marion Vandiver and Ida Victoria Carlton McGarity. She was a widow
     of Bonnie Little. She was a homemaker and member of Old Canon
     Baptist Church.
         Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Old Canon Baptist
     Church with the Revs. J.J. Chatham and Gary McWhorter officiating.
     Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in
     the church at 1:30 p.m. Monday.
         Survivors include two sons, Parks Little, Bowersville, and Dan
     Snow, Greer, S.C.; two daughters, Hazel Carlton, Canon, and Carol
     Snow Chitwood, Hartwell; a sister, Delina Brown Geiger, Winter
     Haven, Fla.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
         The family will receive friends at Pruitte Funeral Home,
     Royston, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today.
         The family is at the home of Charles and Hazel Carlton, 447
     Beaverdam Farm Road, Canon.
     Lillian E. Ouzts
     Cornelia
         Lillian Elizabeth Ouzts, 85, died Friday, Oct. 4, 1996.
         A native of Prentiss County, Miss., Mrs. Ouzts was a daughter
     of the late James Brenton and Mary Hester Ward Peek. She was the
     widow of Rube Elton Ouzts. She was a homemaker.
         Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Whitfield Funeral
     Home Chapel, Cornelia, with the Rev. J.R. Elrod officiating. Burial
     will be in Spring Valley Cemetery, Mathiston, Miss.
         Survivors include seven daughters, Mary Kirkendoll, Grand
     Rapids, Mich., Lillie Mae Allison, Clarkesville, Joanne Baker,
     Oconto Falls, Wis., Shirley Fry and Frances Ferguson, both of
     Cornelia, and Bobbie Wigtion and Judy Quinlan, both of Rockford,
     Ill.; four sons, James, Earl and Charlie Ouzts, Grand Rapids,
     Mich., and Jerry Ouzts, Cornelia; 25 grandchildren; 15
     great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
     Eula Turman

         Eula Mae Strickland Turman, 87, of 534 Cawthon-Davis Road, died
     Saturday, Oct. 5, 1996.
         A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Turman was a daughter of the
     late A.F. and Nora Davis Strickland. She was the widow of G.W.
     Turman. She was a retired seamstress for Georgia Sportswear and a
     member of Canon United Methodist Church.
         Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Canon United
     Methodist Church with the Revs. Sally Oakes and Kenneth Deittle
     officiating. Burial will be in Oakview Cemetery.
         Survivors include a brother, Thomas Strickland, Wadesboro,
     N.C.; and five sisters, Madeline Strickland, Charlotte, N.C., Lib
     Cuaco, Miami, Polly Hurd, Griffin, and Mary Freeman and Mildred
     Casey, both of Canon.
         Pallbearers will be Leslie Freeman, Ricky Freeman, David
     Strickland, Terry Strickland, Tommy Strickland and Wayne
     Strickland.
         The family will receive friends at Pruitte Funeral Home, Inc.,
     Royston, from 7-9 tonight. The families are at their homes.
