1842 : Georgia,  Clarke County)   Indenture, made this thirteenth day of ___ in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty two, between Smith
Alexander of the one part and William Murray of the other part, both of the
county and State aforesaid, _____ that the said Smith Alexander for and in
consideration of the sum of thirty dollars to him in hand paid, by the said
William Murray at and before the signing sealing and delivery of these presents,
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold and
_____, and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell and ++unto the aforesaid
William Murray his heirs and assigns, etal, all the interest, right, title
____of said Smith Alexander his heirs ___in and to lots numbers (68) sixty eight
and (69) sixty nine) in the town of watkinsville in Clarke County and said State
of Georgia and also the ____ adjoining said lots continuing _across more or less
joining Robert R. Harden, William Murray and others known and ___in the _of said
town by the numbers as above described.

To have and to hold the said lots and the land connected to the aforesaid lots,
unto him the aforesaid William Murray his heirs and assigns, forever in fee
simpl__ and ___ the said Smith Alexander for himself his heirs and assigns, does
hereby and will forever warrant and defend the title of said Town Lotts, and the
___ belonging to said lots, against the claim or claims of all and every other
person or persons whatsoever.

In Testimony whereof he the said Smith Alexander hath hereunto set his hand and
affixed his seal the day and year first above writeen.
