                           Judge Thomas Illness Victim
 Judge Dean Thomas, 45, died at his home on Columbus Road yesterday at 4PM 
following several week's illness.
 He was a member of Tattnall Square Baptist Church and had been a resident of 
Macon for 20 years.
 He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Annie Coxwell of Alabama; three 
sons, Billy, Cleveland, and Truman Thomas, all of Macon; two daughters, Miss 
Martha Thomas, Macon and Mrs. Marie Dutton, Ranger, Ga.; two brothers, A. B. 
and L. R. Thomas, both of Orange, Ga.; and three sisters, Mrs. C. R. Faucett, 
Lakeland, Fla., Mrs. L. M. Green, Atlanta, and Mrs. O. M. Peters, Moultrie.
 Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Burghard-Connally.

Additional Comments:
James Dean Thomas was born 21 May 1897 to D. Albert Thomas and Lona Isadore 
Rudilsill. He and his wife, Mary Annie Coxwell Thomas Smith are both buried in 
Macon Memorial Park in Macon, Ga.
