Bibb County
This Indenture made the twenty Eighth day of January in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
thirty seven and in the Sixty first year of the
Independence of the United States of America between John
Martin & Charles J. McDonald both of the County of Bibb &
Said State of the one part, and John Anderson of the
County of Bibb & said State of the other part.

Witnesseth, that the said John Martin & Charles McDonald
for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred &
fifty dollars in hand paid at and before the sealing and
delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, have granted, bargained, Sold, aliened,
confirmed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell,
alien, convey and confirm unto the Said John Anderson his
heirs and assigns, All that part of Lot of Land in the
City of Macon known as lot number one in Square twenty
_?_ being thirty five feet more or less, front on Cherry
Street extending thence one hundred and five feet more or
less in the rear bounded Southwardly by another part of
said Lot East and North East by the premises of Edward
Rylander & North & West by the premise of Robert B.
Washington.

To have and to hold the said bargained premises with all
and singular all rights, members and appurtenances
thereof whatsoever to the said bargained premises being,
belonging, or in any wise appertaining, with the
remainder and remainders, reversion and reversions,
rents, issues, and profits thereof to the only proper use
benefit and behoof of him the said John Andersen his
heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, in fee
simple; and the Said John Martin & Charles McDonald their
heirs, executors and administrators, the said bargained
part of Lot of Land unto the said John Anderson his
heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, against the
said John Martin & Charles J. McDonald their heirs,
executors and administrator and assigns against all and
every other persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and
forever defend by virtue of these presents.

In Witness whereof the said John Martin and Charles J.
McDonald hath set their hand and affixed their seals the
day and year first above written.
