  Graveside rites for Mrs. Gladys Roberts conducted Monday
 Graveside services for Mrs. Gladys G. Roberts, 70, Willacoochee, were 
conducted in City Cemetery, Willacoochee, Monday, p.m., with the Rev. Jeff 
Floyd officiating.
 Mrs. Roberts died Saturday afternoon November 10, 1973, in the Coffee General 
Hospital following an extended illness. 
 Born July 18, 1902 a native of Berrien County, GA, she was the daughter of the 
late Henry and Elizabeth Lott Gaskins.
 Survivors are her husband, Owen R. Roberts, Sr. of Willacoochee; two sons, 
Owen Russell Roberts, Jr., Atlanta, Raymond Roberts, Columbia, SC; three 
brothers, Ernest W. Gaskins, Hopewell, VA; John H. Gaskins, Willacoochee, Roy 
G. Gaskins, Birmingham, AL; two sisters, Mrs. Thelma G. Handberry, Miami, FL, 
Mrs. F. W. Scott, St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada; four grandchildren.
 Pallbearers were Merrill Higgs, Gerald Lee, Ben Knowles, Emeden McCranie, 
Batie Gaskins, Vincent Carver.
 Sims Funeral Home was in charge.
