"Bobby" 1945 - 2005 Robert R. Hernandez (Bobby) Services: Sat., July 23, 9:00 a.m. Services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., for Robert R. Bobby Hernandez, 59, who passed away July 19, 2005. Pastor Fernie Mancillas will officiate. Bobby was born on August 22, 1945, in San Jose, CA and resided in Kern County for 58 years. Robert was compassionate and strong in faith, trusting and thanking God for each new day. He loved reading his Bible and about U.S. History. Robert loved sports and was an avid Raider and Dodger fan. Robert was loved and will be deeply missed by all. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hope Ruiz and two brothers, Richard and Michael. He is survived by his father, Henry Ruiz Sr.; brothers, David, Henry Jr., Joey, Carlos, Gigi and Manuel and sisters, Gloria, Roseann, Melinda, Patricia and Monica. Roberts family would like to thank the staff at Valley Convalescent Hospital, Elder Life and Odyssey Hospice for their care and support. We would especially like to thank our sister, Roseann Franco for caring for our brother throughout his illness. Casketbearers will be David Ruiz, Jr., Nick Ruiz, Carlos Ruiz Jr., Henry Ruiz III, Gilbert Ruiz, Jr., and Andrew Pinales. Visitation will be today, 12:00 - 9:00 p. m.
