SECRETARY BATES TO THE SECRETARY OF STATE
MISSOURI TERRITORY Secretary's Office St Louis April 1st 1813
SIR, As required by the 2nd Sec of the Act providing for the government of
the territory of Missouri' I have the honor to transmit, enclosed copies of two
proclamations of the Governor-and copies of the Lists of appointments, civil and
militia, (Note: Militia appointments not present) made under the said Act during
the last six Months.-
