Obituary Collection of Kathlyn J Folmar
FOLMAR, JOSEPH LEROY (1-1-1884 – 5-27-1950)
	Joseph Leroy Folmar, 66, of Goshen, Ala., Route 2, died Saturday at a hospital
in Troy, Ala.,  after a long illness.
	Funeral services were held Sun. at 3:30 p.m., at Elam Primitive Baptist Church
north of Goshen, with elders J. W. McLeod, F. A. Collins, and J. J. Richards
officiating. 
	Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Marie [pronounced “Mary”] Jackson Folmar; three
sons, Edwin Owen Folmar and Henry Wilbert Folmar, both of Goshen, and William
Erastus Folmar, U.S. Air Force; daughters, Mrs. Vernon Stroud [Rita] of Goshen
and Mrs. R. L. Hightower [Velma] of Birmingham; three brothers, J. R. [James
Ross] and W. D. [Wilson], both of Goshen, and T. R. [Rodgers] of Miami, Florida;
three sisters, Mrs. L. D. Johnson [Eula] of Mobile, Mrs. F. A. Horton [Sarah] of
Andalusia, and Mrs. John Van der Hooning [Gladys] of Norfolk, Va.; and 11
grandchildren.
