MRS. ROBERTS PASSES AT 71 AT HOSPITAL

Resident of Oxford For 50 years; Funeral Rites Tomorrow

Mrs. Margaret Richey Roberts, 71, a resident of Oxford for 50 years, died at 
Memorial Hospital this morning at 4:30 o'clock following an illness.

A member of Oxford First Baptist Church, she had been very active in Church, 
she had been very active in church and club work.  She made her home at 227 
Main Street.

Surviving are the husband, Earl B. Roberts; a son, James R. Roberts, both of 
Oxford; two daughters Miss Mary Roberts of Oxford; Mrs. Baker Wingfield of 
Atlanta, Ga.; two grandchildren and three nieces.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock from Oxford 
First Baptist Church by the Rev. Charles Martin, Jr., and the Rev. William 
Curl. Burial will be in Oxford Cemetery, Usrey in charge.

Pallbearers will be Carl Pace, Walter Stephens, Eugene Cooper, Tom Sims, H. M. 
Sproull and William C. Bibb.

The body will lie in state at the church from 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon 
until the time of the funeral.
