(This battery was organized at Indianapolis, Ind.,

November 22, 1861, to serve three years.

 

The original members (except veterans) were mustered out November 26, 1864,

by reason of expiration of term of service, and the veterans

and recruits transferred to the 7th Indiana battery.)

 

(The official list of battles in which this battery

bore an honorable part is not yet published in orders.)
