Taylor United Methodist Church
823 Old National Pike
Brownsville, Pa. 15417

Directions from Brownsville, PA: From US-40 W/Market St/Albany Road, head northwest on US-40 W/Market St for 3.4 mi, turn left onto Old National Pike for 0.6 mi, cemetery will be on the right.

While the church sign shows that Taylor United Methodist Church was established in 1772, there is little historical data available about the church. It is mentioned in a History of Washington County: from its first settlement to the present time ... (1870) by Alfred Creigh. It celebrated its 151st Annual Homecoming Day in 1938.

This data was collected by the DAR and found in the genealogy section of the Citizen’s Library in Washington, PA. The data is from 1937 and since the cemetery is still active the data is not complete.
