Additional comments: The date on the tombstone is actually the date of baptism, not birth. He was born on the 8th of January, 1725. The original grave site is lost. Stone moved by the Western Md. R.R. Co. about 1885 and was re-set at Grindstone Hill in 1952. This photo was taken in February of 1982, and the stone has deteriorated significantly since then. Contributor: Robert A. Miller, Jr.
