In April 2009, unknown persons caused significant damage at the cemetery by toppling and breaking many of the older tombstones, and spray painting graffiti on others.  The PAGenWeb Tombstone Project deplores this senseless vandalism, and hopes that anyone with information as to the identity of the perpetrators of these acts will come forward to the authorities.
