Cemetery is administered by:

Robinson Run Cemetery
504 Sunset Lane
McDonald, PA  15057
(724) 926-8511

Originally, the Robinson Run Cemetery was referred to as the Hill cemetery, as it was on a hill I suppose, and then it was known as Arlington Cemetery until it was incorporated as Robinson Run Aug. 27, 1903.

Taken from the McDonald PA Outlook, 06 Sep 1916

The Robinson Run Cemetery Co. has been incorporated under the state ___ of Pennsylvania, a perpetual ... granted. The Cemetery Company is a non-profit paying corporation, and all the proceeds from the sale of lots, graves, etc., above expenses going toward improving the grounds.

There are about fourteen acres in the old cemetery, to which there has been added a beautiful piece of ground of four and a half acres, situated on a knoll and adjoining the old cemetery on the northeast. The new piece has been graded, sodded down, walks have been made and the entire piece has been enclosed with an Amoor River hedge. Three lots have already been sold and Mrs. George A. MCCRORY of Noblestown, who was buried on Tuesday is the first person to be laid away in the new part.

The cemetery company is managed by a board of seven directors.  They are: J. P. SHANE, J. L. COOK, George HOFFMAN, Sr., Thomas A. CAMPBELL, James E. CLARK, Theodore O. MCEWEN. J. P. SHANE is president, J. L. COOK secretary and George HOFFMAN treasurer. The cemetery was the private enterprise of James MCEWEN, who died July **, 191*. ... the trustees have become directors and any vacancies that occur will be filled by the remaining directors, in this way the cemetery organization perpetuates itself.

David C. KIRK became superintendent of Robinson's Run Cemetery on the first day of November 1904. With zeal and energy Mr. KIRK has worked all the intervening years and made the old burying ground one of the best kept cemeteries in the State.  (contributed by Victoria Valentine)
