I  specialize in Allegheny County research and routinely use the Pennsylvania Department at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, Archives of an Industrial Society at the University of Pittsburgh, the library at the Heinz History Center, the Archives and Record Center of the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh, and all of the County Departments including Wills/Orphans Court Division (also marriage licenses), Family/Civil Division, and Real Estate (deeds).

I have thirty years professional experience, in addition to many years researching my own family. I have served as director and treasurer of the Western Pennsylvania Genealogical Society and am currently chair of their  lineage society, First Families of Western Pennsylvania. I also volunteer as a researcher at the Archives and Record Center of the Diocese of Pittsburgh.

I am available for hire to photograph tombstone in cemeteries in the Monroeville, Pitcairn, North Versailles, McKeesport and surrounding areas.  My fee is $25 for the first stone photographed, and $5 for each additional stone.  This includes driving to the cemetery, digitally photographing the stone, and emailing you the image.  The more information you are able to provide me about the request will result in faster response times.  I will also, at no additional cost, post the photos online at the Allegheny County PA GenWeb Archives Tombstone Photo Project.
