She was a widow with 4 small children in the Oklahoma Land Run of 1892.. shortly after the landrun she married, Mr. Vanyle
he was older then her..and lived a short time after the marriage.. She was known in Arapaho & Anthon , custer co., Ok..
As "Aunt Addie" or "Grandma Vanyle"...She always had a Beautiful Black Trotter and a Elegant Surry....
She was the daughter of Henry Hamilton Shepherd and Elvira..
