Funeral services for Armil Joe Parker, 62, of Fort Gibson, OK, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2007 at the Old Mission Church in Fort Gibson with Reverend Ricky Harris officiating. Burial will be in Pettit Cemetery in Keys, OK, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Fort Gibson.

Mr. Parker was born March 5, 1944 at Cookson, OK, the son of Ralph and Nola Mae (Trammell) Parker and died Sunday, February 11, 2007 at Muskogee, OK.

His school years were spent at Pigeon, Mt. Zion and Woodall. He was employed for many years by Dee Davison Custom Masonry and also Cook Construction. He spent the last few years in the home of his daughter, Suzie.

Survivors include ex-wife, mother of his children and friend, Sammie Locust; daughter, Suzie Stoneburner and husband , Ron, of Fort Gibson, sons, Billy Ralph Parker and wife, Gay Lynn, and unborn grandchild of Muskogee, Joe Dale Parker of Fort Gibson; one sister, Marie Torix and husband, Skeet, of Fort Gibson; four brothers, Bill Parker and wife, Lois, of Tahlequah, Tommy Parker of Inola, Jimmy Parker and wife, Joy, Charlie Parker and wife, Joyce of Fort Gibson; special friend, Juanita Towie of Tahlequah. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Raymond, Ralph Jr. and Bobby Wayne.
