I believe this cemetery land had been formed from land once owned by the Partee family and either sold or donated to become Bucks Cemetery. The family surnames of Buck, Coonrod, Partee, Sines, and many more can be found on the headstones that can still be read.
*Nancy's observations: this cemetery is located just outside of Evansport, Tiffin Twp., Defiance Co., Ohio. The grounds and stones are not kept up like alot of the other cemeteries in the area. Williams County web site describes this cemetery as located on Co. Rd. A & 20 on the county line between Defiance and Williams counties in a wooded area not visable from the road, in Springfield Twp., Williams Co.

Woolery Coonrod, b. Aug. 19, 1787 [Pendleton Co., Virginia], d. Jan. 3, 1847, AE 49y 4m & 15 days[Tiffin Twp., Defiance Co., OH. Woolery was the son of Jacob Coonrod & Eve Vandevender of Virginia. He is buried with his 1st wife] Huldah (Partee), his wife, died Sep. 20, 1834, AE 36y's 1m & 28 days. [After her death he remarried my ancestor Mary Polly Coy-Coonrod on Jan. 23, 1835 in Tiffin Twp. Mary Polly Jones/Coy/Coonrod was the step-mother of Huldah's 5 children. Mary Polly's own children were all nearly grown and living on their own near her and Woolory. Woolory must have been a good step-father to Mary Polly's children. When Mary's son Adam Coy b. 1821, married Maria Caszett in 1839, they named their 3rd child Oliver Woolery Coy, after his step-father who had raised him since he was 14 yr. old.]
Simon Sines, born 1816 in Fairfield Co., Ohio, was the son of Henry Sines (1781 in VA and died in 1861 also buried at Buck Cemetery)and Susannah. Simon was married twice, both times in Williams Co., Ohio and both times to a Rebecca. His first wife was Rebecca Bishop and second wife was Rebecca McCafferty. She was the daughter of Benjamin & Jane (Devine) McCafferty from York Co., Penn. (They are buried in Shiffler Cemetery, in Williams Co.,Ohio) Simon had many children and many of them lived in Defiance Co., Ohio.
