These tombstone photos have been generously donated by Robin Fife, Sept. 3, 2004
The cemetery is on the east side of State Route 684, just south of pageville (Downington), Meigs Co., OH. The cemetery is still in use
and adjoins the Wells Cemetery with a driveway between them. Riggs Cemetery contains the remains of Jeremiah D. Riggs, Sr. and his wife
Rachel Keller, although there are no stones remaining. Jeremiah Riggs, Sr. was the first white settler of what is now Pageville. Jeremiah
& Rachel's son James was the first white child born in Scipio Twp.
