Rose, John H., 1850 - 1928; Hannah, 1852 - 1932 -Gone but not forgotten- John Henry Rose was born March 2, 1850, died Dec. 19, 1928. He was the son of Lewis & Margaret (Lambert) Rose. He was a farmer and according to some family members, was a preacher. He married Hannah Friel in Lawrence Co., OH. Hannah was born Oct. 1852, died 1932. She was the daughter of Levi J. & Mary M. (Moser) Friel.
Rose, Ora B., 1883 - 1959; Eldon W., 1883 - 1953 Eldon Walter Rose was born July 28, 1883, died 1953. Eldon was the son of William T. & Sarah (Harmon) Rose. He was a farmer in Mason Twp., Lawrence C., OH. He married Ora Blanche Hamilton on Dec. 10, 1916 in Lawrence Co. OH and they had 4 children: William Edward (Merle Sanders), Ruth Winnifred (Wayne Jenkins), Mary Armita (Roshon), James Eldon (Ernestine Justice). Ora Blanche Hamilton was born May 13, 1883, died 1959. She was the daughter of Edward M. & Arminda (Wiseman) Hamilton.
Rose, Fred, died May 28, 1885, aged 6y 6m 27d Fred was the son of John H. & Hannah (Friel) Rose. He was born Nov. 28, 1878.
Rose, John T., 1864 - 1931; Jane, his wife, 1855 - 1939 John T. Rose was born Feb. 1864, died 1931. John was the son of Deborah Rose & grandson of William & Winifred (Neal) Rose. He was a farmer & resided in Mason Twp., Lawrence Co., OH. Jane's maiden name was Harmom
Rose, Louisa, 1863 - 1959; Jonah, 1860 - 1943 Jonah Rose was born Feb. 1860, died 1943. He had the "Okey" Post Office and owned a general store in Mason Twp. In addition, he farmed in Mason Twp. Jonah and his family were members of the Lawrence Chapel Methodist Church. He married Louisa Harmon on Nov. 14, 1885 and they had three children: Laura May (Henry Turner), Ollie A. (Melvin Clark) and Verda L. (Earnest E. Reese). Louisa was born in Nov. 1863, died 1959.
Clark, Ollie A., 1889 - 1934 Ollie A. (Rose) Clark born 20 Sept. 1889 at Mason Twp., died 1934, at Mercy Hospital, Portsmouth. Ollie was the daughter of Jonah & Louisa (Harmon) Rose. She was divorced from Melvin Clark shortly after the birth of their daughter, Laura. (image pending)
