Feb. 22, 1922 according to family record, but Ohio Death Certificate Index, records show death Feb. 19, 1922, his name is listed in this report with an "f", Harfer. Mariah Cassill was his first wife. They married Apr. 2, 1876 in Vinton Co., OH. She was born about Dec. 28, 1855 in Vinton Co., OH, died Aug. 3, 1886 Jackson Co., OH, of complications from childbirth. So, there is likely an unnamed unborn/undelivered baby inside of her, which was not listed on the tombstone. There's no birth/death listed for an infant on/near that date in courthouse record.
