Ohio Tombstone Photo Project

The USGenWeb Archives | The Ohio USGenWeb Archives | The USGenWeb Project

We have a new threaded forum website called Ohio Tombstone Photo Forum, just created to assist all of you that might have questions and inquires concerning cemeteries in the state of Ohio. If you have questions, such as where a cemetery is located or trying to get answers to cemetery related questions, post them there. This might prove to be the place to seek help. Please register, type your cemetery related question on the website and someone viewing/monitoring or I, will try to address your inquiries. Bookmark the site and check it often, but be patient, it's new and will take awhile to get users. Here's the link: http://ohiocemetery.freeforums.org/ Best regards. Robert
All 88 counties of Ohio are represented by image and transcription submissions.

To donate memorial photos for any of the counties below please read our How to Donate Page. We need your help to grow!

Please remember, I really try to respond to each email inquiry, but can't always answer inquiries or lookups. My work schedule keeps my plate of "things to do" overfilled. Occasionally, someone will send inquires about areas that I have no personal or additional knowledge, so, if you don't hear from me, it's because I have no additional information beyond what's posted. Please use the new forum link, posted just above this, this will greatly increase your chances of someone being able to help you. If there is additional research that I have personal knowledge of, I'll respond as soon as possible. In the past I have tried to answer everyone's email, and most of the time, it would be a "gee I donno", but my work schedule has been so overwhelming that I barely have time to keep up with submissions of photos and transcriptions coming in weekly. I'm near but not retired yet, so much of this work is done on weekends and late evenings. It would be agreat help to me if you would include the name of cemetery, township and county on each page of submitted images.
Submissions can be sent to this link: http://www.poppet.org/ohfiles/photos.html. If this site for any reason fails to function, you can contact me at: ohiocempics@gmail.com Thanks again for all your kindness in sharing data, photos and for your patience in my posting data to this website. This is my new email address, I'm at our new residence & back to posting your donations. It can be a rather slow process, as I presently have a large back log of images to process. ~Kindest regards.
