Born in Anderson, S.C., on June 15, 1923, Mrs. Keel was the daughter of the late Z.L. Burriss and Blanche Johnson Burriss. She was a retired secretary with Anderson School District 5 Maintenance Department and was currently employed by Wal-Mart Store #644, Anderson, in the Accounting Department. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Anderson. She is survived by her sons, Frank T. Keel and William Eugene Keel and his wife, Jane Asprey Keel, all of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; her sister, Elizabeth Dandridge of Summerville, S.C.; a granddaughter, Nancy Carol Fennell of Columbia, S.C.; a grandson, Dr. John Curitan Keel of Atlanta, Ga.; and one great grandson, Andrew Fennell of Columbia, S.C. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2001, at 11 a.m., at the McDougald Funeral Home Chapel in Anderson. Burial will follow in the Old Silverbrook Cemetery, Anderson. The body is at the McDougald Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., on Monday, June 11, 2001. The family is at the residence, 204 Donaree Circle, Anderson, S.C.
