Coeur d'Alene Press - The Daily Bee Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai County, Idaho <> William Rowley, 62 William Michael Rowley was born Sept. 26, 1942, to Tillie and Edward Rowley in West Redding, Pa. He died Nov. 10, 2004, at his home in Coeur d'Alene. Bill grew up in Shenandoah, Pa., and graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1960. After graduation, he joined the Navy and was honorably discharged in 1964 in San Diego. After leaving the Navy, Bill moved to San Bernardino, Calif., and went to work for Sears. While at Sears, he attended and graduated from Valley College in San Bernardino with a business degree. Bill married Evelyn Anderson on Feb. 3, 1973, at the Ascentenia Mission in Redlands, Calif. He and his family then moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1992. While in Coeur d'Alene, he worked at Montgomery Ward, Fred's Appliance, and Sears. His hobbies included playing darts, pool, bowling and pinochle. He was also a member of the Eagles. His parents preceded him in death. William is survived by his wife of 31 years and five children. His sons are William and wife Jamee of Coeur d'Alene, Kelly and fiancee Kate, Pocatello. His daughters include Amy Adkinson and husband Travis of Post Falls, Jennifer Rowley, Coeur d'Alene, Rachel Wold and husband Scott, Highland, Calif. He has five grandchildren: Madison Rowley, Samantha Wold, Colt Rowley, Zachary Adkinson and Owen Rowley. Dad, Bill or Billy was loved by many and will be missed dearly. He has made many dear friends over the years and will not be forgotten as he has touched many lives. His favorite saying was not to worry, and he wouldn't want anyone to be upset over him. He always wanted everyone to be happy and enjoy life. Visitation will be start at 5 p.m. and last until the 7 p.m. vigil service Nov. 17 at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d'Alene. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Nov. 18 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Coeur d'Alene. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
