Larry Steven Rice, 54

Larry  Steven  Rice,  54, passed away in his home July 8, 2004 due to heart
failure.  He  was  born  on  Jan. 22, 1950 to Boradus and Elizabeth Rice in
Hickman, Kentucky.


Larry  attended Western Kentucky University where he received his Bachelors
degree in history and geography.

He  enjoyed  photography, astrology, visiting with his friends, and working
on  his  computer. Larry also loved the outdoors including hiking, camping,
and  taking  drives  in the country. Larry especially enjoyed spending time
with  Peggy  and  Bradley's  children  James, Zachary, Robert, Michael, and
William.  Larry loved to spend time with his morning coffee group at Owen's
deli, and his co-workers at Pine River Management Group.

Larry  is  survived by two brothers, Bill, and Fred Rice, both of Kentucky.
Larry  also  has  numerous  nieces  and  nephews including Steve and Ray of
Tennessee.

A  family  potluck  reception  will  be held at Jeannett and Gerald Brown's
residence  at  5541  spring Valley Road in Newport at 6:30 p.m. on July 16.
Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
