Coeur d'Alene Press - The Daily Bee Coeur d'Alene, Idaho <> Helen Robertson, 77 Helen Ruth Robertson, 77, Coeur d'Alene, died Aug. 5, 2004, at Kootenai Medical Center. Born Jan. 16, 1927, in Yakima, Wash., to Frank Creighton and Ella (Zeller) Creighton, she grew up there helping her father farm in their fruit orchard. She graduated from the University of Washington with her major studies in music, meteorology, business and accounting. Helen and her former husband, J. Paul Robertson, moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1958 to raise their family and started Robertson Insurance Co. She was a member of Yakima Rock Club, Coeur d'Alene Archery and was a Coeur d'Alene city chess champion. Helen enjoyed fishing, putting puzzles together, feeding ducks at Fernan Lake, The Weather Channel, family dogs, gardening and spending time outdoors with her family. She is survived by sons Daryl B. Robertson and fiancee Holly of Post Falls, Ted A. Robertson and fiancee Mia of Las Vegas, daughter and son-in-law Janet L. and Mike Durbin of Portland, sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Bob Wikoff of Oakdale, Calif., brother in law Ian Robertson of Washington, daughter-in-law Belinda Adams of Coeur d'Alene, grandchildren Craig and wife Sally, Kris and wife Keri, Casandra, Angie and husband Jim, Austin and Ilia. Great grandchildren are Austin, Ryan, John Paul and one on the way. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be Aug. 10 at 1 p.m. at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d'Alene, 1133 N. 4th St. English Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
