Coeur d'Alene Press - The Daily Bee Coeur d'Alene, Idaho <> Lois McMullen, 89 Lois Nogle McMullen died July 24, 2004, in Sequim, Wash., at the age of 89. She was born Myrtie Lois Nogle on April 25, 1915, in Post Falls, to Archie and Mary (Young) Nogle. Lois married John L. (Mac) McMullen in Post Falls on Nov. 27, 1946. Although Lois and Mac never had children of their own, they were "parents" to dozens of exchange students, whom they hosted during the years that Mac was a professor, and later, associate dean, of the College of Letters and Sciences at University of Idaho. Lois loved to entertain and travel. Following their retirement, she and Mac visited former exchange students all over the world. She was an avid bridge player. Lois had a great love of the outdoors, especially Glacier National Park, where Mac was a ranger-naturalist for many summers. Lois is survived by her loving husband, Mac, in Sequim, Wash.; brother Glenn Nogle, Spokane; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 11 a.m. Aug. 13 at Sequim Presbyterian Church, 950 N. Fifth Avenue, Sequim, Wash.
