Priest River Times Priest River, Bonner County, Idaho Albert William Kroll, 89 Albert William Kroll, 89, of Cusick, Wash., died at a Spokane hospital on Nov. 8, 2004, following an illness. He was born on Feb. 18, 1915, in Hoquiam, Wash., to Hugo and Myrtle Casey Kroll. He graduated from high school in Eugene, Ore., in 1934. On March 23, 1941, he married Enid Erliva Edmisten in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He then went on in school and received his medical doctor's degree from Loma Linda University in 1947. Albert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for the V.A. hospitals in pathology. He moved to Cusick 10 years ago from Colorado. Albert enjoyed skating, swimming, golfing, canoeing and traveling. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and member emeritus of the College of Pathology. Survivors include his wife, Enid, at the home; two sons, Lyndon Kroll of Lafayette, Colo., and Raymond Kroll of Bozeman, Mont.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Kroll; sister, Grace Strawn; and a son, Romelle Kroll, two years ago. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12, at the Seventh-day Adventist church in Ione. Burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Ione. Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. The family suggests memorials be made to "3 ABM" Three Angels Broadcasting Network, c/o the Ione Seventh-day Adventist Church, P.O.
