Coeur d'Alene Press - The Daily Bee Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai County, Idaho <> Hazel Krull, 97 Hazel M. Krull, 97, Kellogg, died Nov. 17, 2004, at Mountain Valley Care and Rehabilitation in Kellogg. She was born April 5, 1907, near Watertown, S.D., to Herbert and Lena Bevers. Hazel attended schools near Watertown and Clear Lake, S.D., and graduated from business college in Watertown in 1926. She worked as a stenographer for 21 years. Hazel was a member of the Methodist Church in both Watertown and Clear Lake. On June 1, 1948, she married Martin Krull of Kellogg. They lived near Kellogg for six years, and then moved in 1956 to Coeur d'Alene, where she had lived for 50 years. She was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church and belonged to the Methodist Women's Group. Hazel enjoyed gardening, sewing and travel. She is survived by her stepdaughters, Marion McGillivray of Kingston, and Donna Van Vleet, Pinehurst; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews in South Dakota. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Krull, in 1972, grandchild Rodney Van Vleet, four sisters and three brothers. At Hazel's request, no services will be held. Private burial was held at Coeur d'Alene Memorial Gardens, with Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d'Alene, in charge of arrangements.
