Idaho County Free Press Grangeville, Idaho County, Idaho John E. Klement, 66 John E. Klement, 66, a resident of White Bird, died Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, at Syringa General Hospital of a heart attack. He was born Jan. 16, 1938, at Floyd, N.M. to Alvin and Rosalee Fahsholtz Klement. The family moved to Hugo, Colo., in 1946. He moved to Priest River in 1956 and that same year he moved to Doumecq and worked on the Smith Brothers ranch. In 1960 he joined the U.S. Army and served until 1962. After the service he moved to Joseph Plains and worked on the Vanpool Ranch. He married Janet Frei at Ferdinand on June 24, 1967. He worked for Green Brothers at Grangeville from 1967 until 1974 when he went to work for Brown Motors in Grangeville. That same year he started running his own cattle herd. In 1981 he went to work on the Robinson ranch and worked there until he retired in 2001. He has continued to run his own cattle until the time of his death. ************************************************************************ Copyright.
