Evelyn Huellemann, 90

Evelyn Josephine Huellemann, 90, Coeur d'Alene, passed away Friday, Oct. 22, 
2004, at home in Coeur d'Alene.

Born Sept. 8, 1914, in Rossland, British Columbia, to Charles and Ida Erickson, 
she grew up at the family homestead on the Coeur d'Alene River in Prichard, 
where Gloria's Steakhouse is. She lived in Osburn until 1976, and then moved to 
Coeur d'Alene where she has resided since.

She worked at Ralph's IGA for her son, and while there made the "best 
sandwiches and chicken in Coeur d'Alene."

Evelyn's hobbies included bowling, gardening, playing canasta, and she enjoyed 
cats.

She was very proud of her five generations, including her children, 
grandchildren, great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Janet Arthur of Coeur d'Alene; 
grandchildren Cindy Walden, Randy Arthur, Monte Arthur, Lisa Fromm, Gail 
Bennett, Connie Hollingsworth, Dana Huellemann, Deanna Folstad and Ralph 
Huellemann Jr.; 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, in 1975, sons Duane and Ralph 
Huellemann, and five brothers and sisters.

Viewing has taken place at Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d'Alene Chapel. She will 
be buried next to her beloved husband in the Osburn Cemetery.
