Marie M. Hawthorne, 87

Marie M. Hawthorne, 87, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, at Syringa General Hospital.

She was born Sept. 6, 1917, at Dallas, Texas, to Arthur and Mary Alice McNeil 
Patterson.

She grew up in Dallas and graduated form the Sunset High School. In 1937 she 
married Robert Howard and they were later divorced. She married Ramsey "Rd" 
Hawthorne in 1953 and they continued to live in Texas until moving to Denver, 
Colo., in 1975. He died in 1984. For many years she was a substitute teacher 
for junior high schools.
