Dorothy Hudson, 80

Dorothy Hudson, 80, Coeur d'Alene, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 30, 2004.

Born Sept. 12, 1924, in Wallace, to Harry and Ella Trekell, Dorothy graduated 
from Coeur d'Alene High School and attended University of Idaho in Moscow.

On Oct. 23, 1949, she married Bert J. Hudson, of Coeur d'Alene, in Opportunity, 
Wash. Dorothy and Bert were part-owners of Coeur d'Alene Tire Service for many 
years prior to retirement.

Dorothy was a longtime member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, St. Luke's Church 
Choir, and the U.S.O. during World War II.

Survivors include her twin sister, Mickie McKahan. and husband Jim of Coeur 
d'Alene; son Bill and wife Karen, Cataldo; daughter Donna and husband Bob, 
Rathdrum; grandchildren Heather, Shelly and Brian; and great-grandson Bobby.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Bert J. Hudson.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Nov. 5 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 501 
Wallace Ave. Coeur d'Alene. English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene, is in charge 
of arrangements.
