Coeur d'Alene Press - The Daily Bee Coeur d'Alene, Idaho <> Mali Hayes, 60 Mali Hayes was tragically killed in a car accident, in the late afternoon, Thursday, July 8, 2004. Without suffering, she left this earth to find peace in heaven. Mali was born Jan. 4, 1944, in Thailand. Many of life's journeys eventually brought her to settle in Shandon, where she lived with her husband, Robert Hayes. She was a special lady who touched the lives of everyone she met. Her smile lit up a room and her heart opened to embrace anyone who needed it. She believed in family and friends, and her love was endless. Mali devoted her life to loving her family and was so very proud of all their accomplishments. "We love you, Mali. May you shine your light upon our lives for eternity." Mali is survived by her husband, Robert; their daughters, Becky Jones and husband Judd Jones, Coeur d'Alene, Malissa Corbett and husband Stephen, San Luis Obispo, Calif., with their newly born daughter, Allison. Family in Thailand also include son Chen Chai; daughter Kubchow and husband Low and their daughters, Ka and Kow. Mali also leaves behind countless friends and extended family who will all miss her dearly.
