Coeur d'Alene Press - The Daily Bee Coeur d'Alene, Idaho <> Dr. Robert Eagan, 54 Dr. Robert J. "Bob" Eagan, 54, Coeur d'Alene, died Sept. 8, 2004, at Kootenai Medical Center. He was born Jan. 26, 1950, in St. Louis, Mo., to Clarence and Frances (Yon) Eagan. He grew up in Deerfield, Ill., where he graduated from high school. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Bob came to Coeur d'Alene in 1976 and opened Kootenai Animal Clinic and later changed the name to AAA Animal Clinic. He married Dorothy Dahlgren May 26, 1985, in Coeur d'Alene where they have continued to make their home. Bob was a member of the Tubbs Hill committee for more than 10 years and had served as treasurer and president. He enjoyed fishing, racquetball and woodworking. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, at the home in Coeur d'Alene; his son, Ivan Eagan at home; his mother, Frances Eagan of Illinois; and his brother, Jim Eagan of Wisconsin. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 13 at Yates Funeral Home, Hayden Chapel with a potluck reception following at the Yates Hayden Chapel's Gathering Center.
