Coeur d'Alene Press - The Daily Bee Coeur d'Alene, Idaho <> Submitted by: Kristy Taylor [muddypaw@onemain.com] James Doyle, 79 James O. Doyle, 79, Athol, died July 27, 2004, in Coeur d'Alene. He was born Sept. 21, 1924, in Woodson, Ore., to Yvonne (Fransier) from France and Marion F. Doyle from Ireland. James came to North Idaho in 1945 from the Navy, after having spent three years in the Pacific during World War II. On May 10, 1946, he married Elvina Fransier in Superior, Mont. James retired from being a maintenance foreman at Kaiser Trentwood. He belonged to the Coeurly Q's Square Dance Club and loved to write poetry. James also volunteered at the Senior Center and traveled annually to Ninilchick, Alaska, where he enjoyed camping and sport fishing. He is survived by his wife, Elvina at home; extended family Don and Kelly Brown, Coeur d'Alene; grandchildren Justine Brown and Ryan Brown, both of Coeur d'Alene; brothers Ken Doyle, Seattle, and Milton Doyle, Clatskamie, Ore.; sister Thelma Ellsworth, Longview, Wash.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 1 p.m. July 30 at English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d' Alene, who is in charge of arrangements.
