Coeur d'Alene Press - The Daily Bee Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai County, Idaho <> Michael Davidner, 55 Michael John Davidner, 55, Coeur d'Alene, passed without pain on Oct. 25, 2004, after a short battle with brain cancer. He was born April 14, 1949, in Vancouver, British Columbia, to Lee and Harry Davidner. They moved to California in 1954 and he graduated from Woodside High School in 1967. He attended San Jose State University and graduated in 1974 with a bachelor of arts in philosophy and psychology. Michael sold real estate in the San Francisco bay area for 17 years. During that time, he met Suzy and her son Justin, soon to be his son, in 1984. For a better life with his new family, Michael moved them to Nevada City, Calif., in 1989 and he and Suzy were married in 1991. They moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1992, and he found his way as an entrepreneur. Michael's love and passion in life were classic cars -- British and Italian, his favorite being Ferrari. He also enjoyed fishing, traveling, and had a passion for travel by train. Cooking for his family, guests and loved ones was a sure treat for Michael any day, during which he shared his knowledge, most wonderful sense of humor, love of life and everything it had to offer. Anyone who knew Mike could feel his joyous passion for everything that came his way. Michael is survived by his best friend, lover and wife Suzy; son Justin; father Harry Davidner; sister Robin Scardina; nieces Anica and Katie; granddaughters Kayla and Kolby; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and wonderful supportive friends near and far. He was preceded in death by his mother Lee Davidner. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. October 30 at Yates Funeral Home, Hayden Chapel, 373 E. Hayden Avenue.
