Giles William (Buster) Clute, 82

Giles William (Buster) Clute died Oct. 10, 2004, of a heart problem in North 
Carolina.

He was born March 29, 1922, to John Leslie and Elsie Adeline Clute, near 
Kooskia on Clear Creek. He requested no funeral, was cremated and the ashes are 
to be near Kooskia in the spring of 2005.

He married Alta Norton in 1950 and later divorced. In 1979 he married Martha 
Gabrell. She survives him in Clayton, N.C.; his first wife, Alta Clute of Walla 
Walla, Wash.; son Gale Wesley Clute of Seattle; daughters, Carol Lee Clute, 
Gwen Adele Pomp of Peck; several grandchildren; sisters, Linnie (Clute) Kidder 
and Caroline (Clute) Thomas of Kooskia; brothers, Jasper Clute of Oregon and 
John Clute of Kooskia.
