Kasey Eugene Bennett Kootenai Valley Press Submitted by: Muddypaw [muddypaw@onemain.com] 1988 ~ 2004 June 21, 2004 Memorial services for Kasey Eugene Bennett, 16, Bonners Ferry, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 17, at the Bonners Ferry LDS Church. Kasey died June 11, 2004, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident north of Bonners Ferry. He was born June 7, 1988, to Doug and Tracy Bennett. He lived in Bonners Ferry and Moyie Springs all of his short life. "Kasey Modecker" was born determined, with a strong will, and he carried those traits with him his entire life. He was full of energy, always feeling the need to go, go, go. Kasey was a free spirit and treasured the time he spent with his friends and cousins. He loved skateboarding, oh, how he did love that! He was a very loving young man, full of charm and charisma. He touched the lives of everyone he came into contact with, and his endearing style and magnetic personality will be missed. Kasey is survived by his parents and brother Kalan at the home, and brothers Shadd and Shawn, both of Boise. He is also survived by aunts and uncles Linda Bennett and Louise and Dan Lockman, all of Bonners Ferry, Paulletta and Michael Lockman, Libby, Montana, Monte and Kim Hawks and Rhonda and Marc Damon, all of Riggins, Idaho, Steven and Wendy Hawks, Bonners Ferry, Shannon and Albert Zipfel, Republic, Washington, Shelley and Mark Munson, Sandpoint, and Toni and Ron Schmidt, Kitchener, British Columbia.
