Laura Bombino, 88

Laura R. Bombino, 88, died Dec. 1, 2004, in Coeur d'Alene.

Born Oct. 14, 1916, and raised in Priest River, Laura graduated from the 
University of Idaho. She married Mike Bombino in 1944. Laura taught school in 
Priest River, Moscow and Wallace, prior to moving in 1955 to Coeur d'Alene, 
where she taught at Coeur d'Alene High School and North Idaho College until her 
retirement in 1978.

Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Mike, in January 1998.

She is survived by her son, Jim, and wife Carla, and grandchildren Jason 
Dedrick and Tiffany Bombino, all of Beaverton, Ore.; and numerous nieces and 
nephews.

Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Dec. 4 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 919 E. 
Indiana Ave. in Coeur d'Alene. Mass will be followed by lunch, and then burial 
in Priest River. English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene, is in charge of 
arrangements.

The family suggests donations to Hospice of North Idaho or Alzheimer's 
Association in lieu of flowers.
